When I grew up, using Mr. Yuk stickers ironically was the punk rock thing to do. Bonus points for covering the All-Star logo on your Chuck’s with Mr. Yuk.

stryker:

Today I learned that people who grew up outside of Pittsburgh have no idea who Mr. Yuk is. Sucks to be yinz.

“Mr. Yuk was conceived by Dr. Richard Moriarty to help children learn to avoid ingesting poisons. Living in Pittsburgh, the skull and crossbones previously used was not terribly helpful, because the Jolly Roger was the mascot for the local baseball team, the Pittsburgh Pirates.”

EDIT: Apparently Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital sent these all over the country. Fine. Calm down everyone.
