loladelphia: This is a screenshot of Philadelphia from the “Mapping America Project“—an amazing and interactive project done by the “New York Times” that uses Census data to show the racial breakdown of every neighborhood in America. The racial segregation in Philadelphia and the suburbs is pretty amazing to see in map form, and it certainly explains a lot about why things are they way they are in Philadelphia.
